BSP Threads Introduction -1
For fastening, connecting threads are mechanical parts, transmission and pass a basic structure form of displacement. Many types of thread , and the method and code do not exactly match the thread marker. Thread gauges is the thread to pass the examination of the main detection tools , correct choice of thread gauges to be used , is the important step of manufacture qualified thread.
1. British standard pipe thread
Inch pipe thread comes from Imperial Wyeth thread, Wyeth Wyeth form of thread and threaded pipe series (type) group established the basic dimensions of the inch pipe thread. At present, the inch thread standards have been ISO standards, ISO the latest non-seal pipe thread pipe thread standards are divided into ISO 228-1:2000 and sealing pipe threads ISO 7-1:2000 in two different standards. Among them,ISO 7 as early as 1955 years,ISO 228 as early as 1978 year, except in the world United States other than most industrial countries have reference or equivalent with the two standard-setting their own standards of pipe thread.

European countries mainly use "pillar / taper" mating thread; and European countries mainly use "cone / cone" mating thread. 1994 years ago,ISO the imperial seal pipe threads and gauge standards are maintained on a "cone / cone" mixing system design. 2000 years later,ISO the imperial seal pipe threads and gauge standards are maintained on a "pillar / taper" matching test design.

Imperial seal pipe thread sealing pipe threads for general use, used to add a material threaded into the Deputy seal. Its characteristics are more economical, moderate accuracy requirements. Add without sealing material can guarantee seals the connection thread as dry seal thread. Inch pipe threading system no dry seal thread. Seal pipe thread mechanical connection and sealing the two functions rather than sealing pipe threads only mechanical connection functionality.
Due to seal pipe threads to use, accuracy, assembling and testing techniques such as different, pipe thread standards currently cannot guarantee that all comply with the standard thread can realize sealing.
